Dear Bfys friends,
Since all CP asymmetries in the Standard Model arise via the Yukawa
couplings of the Higgs field to the fermions the following discussion is in
my opinion just as relevant for LHCb people as for Atlas people. Please see
below,
best regards,

Subject: Informal Nikhef Higgs theory-experiment meeting (things you don't
dare to ask but simply need to know)

Hi colleagues,
We're trying to organize an informal experiment-theory meeting where we can
discuss some of the aspects/implications of the Higgs(-like particle)
discovery. In some of the discussions the past weeks we noticed that some
questions on theoretical implications are unknown to the experimentalists
while they are mostly 'trivial' for the members of the theory group. Same
holds for the experimental facts, interpretations and issues for theorists.
If we can collect the most important questions from each community the
'other' group should be able to explain them within 2 x 30-45 minute
presentation with discussion or so. We'll not be able to go into full depth
on all issues, but exchanging the idea's and knowledge is the main goal.
--------------------------
Date: Tuesday September 4th
Time: 11:30-13:00 hours
Where: Nikhef, H331
--------------------------
So: if you are a theorist and have an experimental question please send it
to Eric/Marieke at least 1 week before the meeting. If you are an
experimentalist send your question to Stan or me.
Although this mail is only sent to to the Nikhef atlas and theory group,
everybody from Nikhef that is interested is welcome to attend of course, so
spread the word and collect questions form your colleagues in other groups.
Regards,
Marieke, Eric, Stan and Ivo
