Hi all, A paper for us. It poses some non trivial questions about statistics and how to best represent the results. Someone with a taste for stats would be very welcome to present it to the group and collect the comments. Dear all, Apologies for the problems this morning. I did not check the vidyo in advance. With the new Vidyo version its link: Vidyo link in Nikhef Bfys Meeting (at Institutes->Nikhef of Friday 21 June 2013) https://indico.cern.ch/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=255991 protected by PIN 1328. did not have a link anymore to vidyo (with More info and Join Now). A new meeting was set up that crashed rather quickly, but now it seems to be stable. A way to connect the Polycom to this Nikhef Bfys Meeting is: 1. Select CERN or type Vidyogw.cern.ch 2. Place a call by pressing the telephone button 3. Type room extension (first # to activate the number key) followed by # 93038631 # 4. Type room pin followed by # 1328 # 5. You are in now as participant video2 (in H331) 6. Activate the microphone if on mute (red light on microphone) 7. Check speaker volume on Polycom and on TV screen Hopefully, next Bfys meeting has no vidyo problems. Best regards, Tjeerd

Dear all, I received the reaction on our comments on LHCB-PAPER-2013-067 Tjeerd Without other remarks I propose to answer with ========================================== Dear contact authors, Thank you for your reactions and explanations. >From your answer it seems that our first general comment was not clearly formulated. Let me try it again: - In the abstract is stated "No significant polarisation is observed". - In the conclusion is stated "For lambda_theta the phi(2S) meson does not show large transverse polarization". - In the data (tables and figure 5) a significant negative value of lambda_theta is observed at large pT which is not the polarisation predicted by CSM (larger negative) and by NRQCD (same size positive). But in that pT bin the polarizaton is different from zero. Therefore, the statement in the abstract does not seem to be correct.
