Dear all,
There's an important paper for us: The first evidence of CP violation in
baryons. It would also be our 2nd paper going to Nature Physics.
Anyone volunteering to collect comments?
Thanks

Hi all,
The 2nd circulation of the Lb->phhh paper has just started. We had many
comments to make it more appropriate for Nature Physics, so a 2nd look
is needed.
Cheers,
Patrick

Dear Colleagues,
The draft paper below is now in its second circulation to the
collaboration. The main purpose is to give the collaboration the
opportunity to view the paper after the changes to the first draft.
Comments can be made on new features introduced or places where
comments received in the first round are felt to be taken
insufficiently into account.

> Title: New Strategy to Extract the CP-violating Phase phi_s from Bs -> K-K+
> Abstract:
> The Bd -> pi-pi+, Bs -> K-K+ system allows the extraction of the angle gamma of the unitarity
> triangle and the Bs—Bs-bar mixing phase phi_s. The LHCb collaboration presented first results with a precision at the 7 degree level. Unless there is theoretical progress, it is challenging to reduce this uncertainty below O(5 deg) due to U-spin breaking corrections. A new strategy for the optimal determination of phi_s is proposed. New elements are the semileptonic decays Bd -> pi-l+nu and Bs -> K-l+nu. Moreover, the U-spin symmetry is only applied to theoretically favourable quantities. Corrections from U-spin breaking are determined. A theoretical precision of up to 0.5 degree is possible in the era of Belle II and the LHCb upgrade. As Bs->K-K+ is dominated by penguin topologies, comparison with the SM expectation and alternative determinations such as from Bs -> J/psi phi may reveal new sources of CP violation.

Hi all,
Here are the replies from the Lambda_b proponents. They addressed our
comments. We also had one physics comment:

Generally it's fine that one comes back to that in a later publication,
though I doubt it will be a "few" months. The risk that some theorist
makes big claims is rather low in that case (P violation in weak baryon
decays, so what? That was already seen in 1956). So I suggest not to
follow up.
Cheers,
Patrick
