[Bfys-physics] ROOT patches

Dear all,

I have been granted commit rights for ROOT a couple of minutes ago. So if you happen to have a patch for ROOT/RooFit, and can convince me why it does the right thing, and why it does not break anything else, I'm happy to push those on your behalf. This will hopefully reduce the time-to- bugfix-accepted-upstream for those of you who do a lot of fitting in RooFit...

P.S. Pieter, your patch for that memory leak in RooFit went in for v5-34-00-patches a couple of minutes ago, and I'll port it to the ROOT 6 branch after lunch...
