Dear VO Managers
the end of security support of the gLite 3.2 Worker Node (WN) service is currently scheduled on the 30th of September 2012 (http://glite.cern.ch/support_calendar/).
Because of the approaching end of life of gLite 3.2 WN, and of the changes in the client library paths introduced by EMI WN, we recommend all VOs to assess the correct running of their computational jobs on EMI 1 WN. This is recommended for a safe migration from gLite to EMI.
A VO who have no experience of jobs running on EMI WN, is recommended to contact the NGI hosting its VOMS server to organize testing activities. For example, a VO whose VOMS server is hosted by a French site, will have to contact the French NGI operations centre.
Testing support can be requested from an NGI either via GGUS (http://helpdesk.egi.eu/) or by e-mail (see e-mail contact information at http://go.egi.eu/ngi-operations).
We also solicit feedback from all VOs who have already experience with EMI WN. Please provide information through a GGUS ticket according to the following template [*]. Your feedback is very important for us to safely migrate to EMI WN.
Thanks for your cooperation. Tiziana Ferrari - EGI Operations
