The APEL message broker* which receives messages containing accounting records from the EMI2 APEL client is currently experiencing unscheduled intermittent downtime. On Friday night (4th) the storage area network (SAN) at RAL experienced a fault which is thought to be the cause. Normal operations will resume once the fault has been diagnosed and fully resolved, estimated to be Monday (7th).

Sites should not take any action, such as republishing, unless requested to do so.

Sites using the EMI3 APEL client and those using other clients which use the EGI message broker network are not affected.
