GOCDB v5 is scheduled for release on the morning of Wed 2nd Oct. This is a major release.

Backward compatibility with the existing v4 Programmatic Interface (PI) has largely been maintained however, there are a number of small but important changes documented on the GOCDB wiki [1]. The most important of these changes includes new Primary Keys (PKs) for NGIs, ServiceGroups and Services. The new PKs change the URLs of the user interface and the XML output of selected PI methods, see [1].

These changes have undergone acceptance testing. A v5 portal and PI are available for testing against a recent snapshot of the production data [2]. Any changes made through this v5 test instance will not update the production data.
