Hi Marco, Miranda,

Best regards, Barbara

Dear all,
Enclosed please find the latest version of the program book. Can you please check and send me your comments before tomorrow (Wednesday, 10:00 hrs)?
The comments I already received from Andre and Marco:
- p. 17: Muntz —> Müntz
Page 22, first talk on the left (Sooraj R), change title: ‘Measurements of charm hadron production and anisotropic flow in Au+Au collisions at √sNN = 200 GeV with the STAR experiment at RHIC’ (and remove second author Jakub Kvapil)
Posters (page 27/28):
Remove poster ‘Study of (1232)++ and anti-Δ(1232)-- Resonance Properties in p-Pb Collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV with ALICE,’ (Serpil Yalcin)
- We expect one more poster; Barbara will send the title if it comes in
time.
The last two poster contributions on page 27 are merged into one bullet, please split
- Add information about the Young Scientist prize (new page between
page 7 and 8, or after the poster list)
The European Physical Journal A (Springer) is sponsoring four young scientist awards of 300 Euro each. The awards are given for the best presentations and posters on theoretical and experimental topics. The prizes are for young scientists in the early phase of their career (up to the second post-doc position). Each presentation and poster will be evaluated for the excellence of the work done, the innovation in the methods and the didactic quality of the presentation or poster by a committee consisting of IAC members.
- Add information about the Summer school (where and which text?)
Text: (Heading 'Summer School') '
A graduate school focused on “The role of strangeness in heavy ion collisions” was held on 8th and 9th of July 2017, before the SQM 2017 conference. About 40 graduate students and young postdocs participated in the school and were supported by granting them free accomodation for the full period and reduced conference fee. The school aimed to provide a comprehensive review of strangeness, both at theoretical and experimental level, including results from SPS, RHIC and LHC. '
This can be added on the same page as the poster prize, between page 7 and 8.
(Lennart)
- The letter S in the logo is not in the right font. This make the logo
look strange. It is best to create an outline of the letters or include the font in the pdf, this way the printing also works if the printer doesn't has the font.
- The photo used for the cover looks a bit grainy, I think we have a
better quality picture than this. But perhaps low quality images were used for this draft?
- Perhaps it is good to show the train station on the map, this adds an
important reference point and makes the map easier to understand.
- There is text hidden behind the red layer on the last page. The logo
also has the same problem with the letter S on this page and the second last page.
Best regards,
Marco.
Best regards,
Miranda
