Ciao All,

the list of the participants (applicants) for the SQM school is ready. We got 40 applicants for 40 positions so in principle we would have the possibility to accept everyone (assuming we still reserve the same budget, otherwise we can rescale them).

In the list 1 person is in red because he is pretty old and I did not get recommendation letter. We may ask him or decide to remove him immediately.

Now, a non negligible problem is that I did not yet check the number of males and females. Since we have double rooms in the hotel, this can create a small issue (we may need 1 or 2 room more)

I will prepare a shared folder so that the other members of the school commettee can go through the names and letter if the they like. Please double check the names to be sure that are real students of real groups, I already did but I may have missed something

I think we should aim to communicate the support to them in the next couple of weeks so that they can arrange abstracts and travel. The one from the very poor countries may need to know about the support before to send the abstract.
