Dear SQM organizers,

I would like to request an extension of the deadline to submit proceedings.

Since I had planned travels for whole September and beginning of October, I started to worry about the proceedings already in the beginning of August (my mail to you on 7 August).
However, no information about number of pages and templates were available.

I checked the webpage and asked you and received response that the deadline for submission of the proceedings will be 1 November (independent mails from A. Mischke of 23 August and B. Trzeciak of 24 August), as stated on your webpage at that time.

You sent full information about the proceedings (including crucial no of pages and templates) on 8th of September, when I was already away, with a new deadline.
Now I'm back at my University but my abstract still needs some work, proofread and also approval of the Collaboration, which takes time.

Therefore, I would like to ask for an extension; for sure I will send the final version before beginning of November. I hope much sooner.

Best regards,
Małgorzata

Dear Malgorzata Anna Janik,

We would like to remind all speakers of the SQM 2017 conference that the deadline for submitting a paper for the conference proceedings is on 15 October 2017. Papers submitted after the deadline will in general not be included in the proceedings. Speakers that submit a paper also need to upload a scanned License agreement.

The SQM 2017 conference proceedings will be published in European Physical Journal: Web of Conferences.

The proceedings information and instructions for authors are available here.

The page limit is

- 8 pages for 25-30 minutes plenary talks;

- 6 pages for 15-20 minutes plenary talks;

- 4 pages for parallel talks.

Please upload your contribution in pdf format on the Indico webpage

https://indico.cern.ch/event/576735/papers/

and also fill in and sign the License agreement and upload it via the Indico webpage.

It is important to ensure that when you submit your paper, it is in its final form print-ready for publication, and has been thoroughly proofread.

For any questions, please contact the Local Organising Committee via sqm2017@nikhef.nl.

Thank you very much for your cooperation.

Best regards,

SQM 2017 Local Organising Committee
