ik denk dat wanneer mensen technische probelemen ervaren ze het abstract per email moeten kunnen indienen? We zitten niet in een lux positie waar we barrieres op kunnen werpen.....

Many US physicists will not have CERN accounts, and almost certainly most US industrial partners and technical folks will not as well. The login presents a real barrier for non-European detector folks in submitting abstracts (this may be part of the reason you may have gotten fewer than expected, if I can guess one reason for the recent delaying of the deadline). I couldn't find an easy way to get a CERN `lightweight' account- would it be possible to get explicit instructions on how to submit an abstract from the US?
