We had just invested all we had, quit our jobs, and traveled to San Francisco to participate in the Launch Festival 2014. Today the technology is so much better, the interface is revamped, and the uses expanded. But our obsession to power audience interaction by turning phones into microphones is greater than ever! Thank you for your early support, your excitement, and your business. NEW 2017 POLYMER COURSE DATES ANNOUNCED http://www.polymercentre.org.uk ------------------------------------------------------------ ** Basic Polymer Science (http://www.polymercentre.org.uk/cpd-training/module-listing/module-introduc…) ------------------------------------------------------------ 20th-22nd March 2017 Novotel Sheffield Centre £990 (Please enquire regarding special rates for students.) This three day course provides an introduction to polymer science and technology and covers basic aspects of the nature of polymers, their synthesis, their structures, their properties, their processing and their applications. The course is suitable for those with a background in science or technology, ideally including chemistry taken at an Advanced Level or equivalent, who are seeking to acquire a general appreciation of the fundamentals of polymer science and technology. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ** Polymer Processing (http://www.polymercentre.org.uk/cpd-training/module-listing/polymer-process…) ------------------------------------------------------------ 23rd - 24th March 2017 Novotel Sheffield Centre £660 (Please enquire regarding special rates for students.) The course will cover the following topics along with case studies associated with each of the techniques: additive manufacturing (3D printing), thermoplastic processing, thermoset processing, composite manufacture as well as a general introduction to polymer processing. The course will cover the following topics and techniques: Overview of polymer characterisation, important properties to measure, thermal techniques, chromatography, spectroscopy, mechanical testing, rheology, biocompatibility.
