Crowd Mics is powering audience interaction for a large financial institution client today and I observed a fascinating behavior:

 

Participants in meetings and events will interact in a way that is natural to them individually, and in every event you'll have all three interaction styles.

 

It's not a new insight but was driven home at this event.

  • Some participants love to talk, so the Crowd Mics microphone is a game changer. Running a mic is unnatural and inefficient. 
  • Many want to ask questions but the thought of talking in a group setting stops them cold. Text commenting is a life saver. Hashtags or event app chat functions are too public.
  • Others prefer to answer polls as their way to participate and our live polling is simple and inclusive. Clickers or polling apps perform just one feature.
