Title: The R&D of the GEM Detector Based on NS2 Technology
Abstract content NS2 technology is a newly developed self-stretch technology for the construction of the large area gas electron multiplier (GEM) detector. Using the NS2 technology, we have built a 30cm×30cm GEM detector. This R&D work includes the mechanical design for detector frames and test setup. The detector is assembled and tested in the state key laboratory of particle detection and electronics at USTC, all the test results will be presented.
