Dear TIPP2014 organizers,
thanks for the opportunity you are giving me of presenting the performances of AMS ECAL at such an important conference.
The AMS ECAL has been presented other times, but now, after three years in space, we can really show the flight performance, rather than the one expected from test beam, and the physics reach which such performance do allow. In particular, in the talk I will stress the pointing capabilities of the device which, unique feature among space calorimeters, allow to perform high energy photon physics not only in the diffuse mode, but also in the source mode.
As we approach the conference, and you finalize the schedule, thanks to let me know the date and the timing allocated to my talk.
See you in Amsterdam.
Marco Incagli.
Good morning.
With reference to my presentation at the Calorimetry session of the conference titled "Performance of the AMS02 electromagnetic calorimeter in space" I have a request. Since I plan to leave on Friday 6 early afternoon, it would be for me much more convenient to have the possibility to give my presentation in Session 1 or 2, of Monday and Tuesday respectively, rather than on Session 3 of the "I.a Calorimetry" parallel session. Please let me know if it is possible to swap day with some other presentation. Otherwise I would have to check for a different flight arrangment which could be not easy and could cost me. Unfortunately, when I checked the agenda, I didn't notice this possible "non connected" 3rd day of Session, and was convinced to give my talk at the beginning of the meeting. That's why I fixed my flight on Friday. I noticed just today about the actual time.
Thanks for your understanding and support.
Marco Incagli.
