Hello, Tomorrow we will proceed to remove the following directories from /project/antares/: anacarol 510M cchsu 41G DWDM 8.9G gordonl 8.0K gwijnker 126G jorishar 19G rusydif 429M sgkaitat 9.4G This will create about 200 GB of disk space. These directories were created by accounts that are now expired. We take the liberty to decide which data will be taped (at sara), and which will be definitely removed. /project/antares is full!

Hi all, the /project/antares disk is now 100% full (actually there is now 755 MB available again, since I deleted some of my files I didn't need anymore). Since I use Stoomboot to run my stuff, which needs a network disk, this means I can basically not work anymore at Nikhef. I have listed here all directories bigger than 10 GB in descending order: dosamt: 134 GB ckopper: 129 GB gwijnker: 126 GB bouwhuim: 92 GB jelena: 84 GB cchsu: 41 GB trias: 35 GB t61: 23 GB cjreed: 20 GB erwin: 18 GB jorishar: 18 GB Can everybody please look at their files and delete (or move to /localstore or tape) those files which he/she doesn't need anymore? Also, as you can see, a large fraction of the disk (~50%) is taken by stuff from people that don't work at Nikhef anymore. Maybe it's a good idea to move does folders (after zipping) to tape? cheers, Erwin

/data/antares

Hello, You may have noticed that /data/antares/ was unreachable the last few days. This was caused by the lack of disk space. At the moment /data/antares is available, but only for the time being. We should all check our disk usage, see if things can be deleted, and take action. As the administrator says: no stable situation is guaranteed unless we make some space. Mieke Bouwhuis
