Hallo Allemaal: Donderdag willen we even stilstaan bij al het werk dat gedaan is aan de PPM_DU. Vorige week is deze prototype string met drie werkende detectie units naar Marseille verstuurd. Er is hier door zowel de ET als de MT zeer hard aan gewerkt. DONDERDAG 3 april om 15.00 uur: Presentatie van Paul Kooijman aansluitend hapje & drankje voor iedereen die KM3Net gesteund heeft! As a consequence, particles may not travel at the universal speed of light. In particular, superluminal extragalactic neutrinos would rapidly lose energy via the bremssthralung of electron-positron pairs, damping their initial energy into electromagnetic cascades, a figure constrained by Fermi Large Area Telescope data.
