As just discussed, the LHCb core software contact for ‘performance monitoring infrastructure’ is Ben Couturier ben.couturier@cern.ch — and the question to ask whether there is a Gaudi Auditor implementation to access the various performance counters on a fine-grained level, i.e. pre- and post- an algorithm is invoked for a single event).

I know that Ben at some point E-mailed me a link to http://icl.cs.utk.edu/papi/software/index.html so maybe there indeed is already something integrated with Gaudi…
