Dear users, The downtime of the Nikhef grid cluster and storage systems that was originally scheduled for February 15 has been postponed. The replacement operation will take place at *Tuesday March 8* (10:00 - 17:00). During the operation, all grid compute and storage services will be unreachable. Until Thursday March 10 (17:00), the systems may (temporarily) be unavailable to test and fix any remaining problems. Please note that this intervention may affect users of the Stoomboot cluster who read data from grid storage element tbn18.nikhef.nl. Dear users, On Tuesday February 15, 2011, the entire Nikhef grid facility will be unavailable to replace a central component in the network setup. Consequently, it will not be possible to use the compute service, the storage systems (connected via tbn18.nikhef.nl) and other grid services. The replacement is a complex operation. There is a small probability that certain services will not be functioning properly after the replacement. Therefore, we scheduled an "at risk" downtime until Thursday February 17. During this period, services may (temporarily) be unavailable and we will test and fix any remaining problems. We apologize for the inconvenience. Regards, Ronald
