[grid-announce] Downtime NIKHEF-ELPROD for upgrade to el4/gLite3.1 on Wed Aug 15 10.00-10.30

On Wednesday Aug 15, at 10.00 AM CEST all worker nodes in the NIKHEF-ELPROD site (NDPF) will be upgraded to CentOS4/gLite3.1.

Jobs successfully submitted before 10.00 AM will be run on el3/gLite3.0, whereas jobs submitted after 10.30 AM CEST will be run on el4/gLite3.1. Information published in the CE's information system will reflect this platform choice. Selected queues will be drained appropriately to ensure no jobs are running beyond 10.00 AM CEST tomorrow.

No submission will be possible in the scheduled downtime between 10.00 AM and 10.30 AM CEST.

Additional downtime announcements: Storage services and brokering will be down for 15 min between 10.15 and 10.30 AM to allow for a kernel upgrade.
