[grid-announce] NIKHEF upgrade to LCG2.4 completed

Dear all,

The upgrade of NIKHEF-ELPROD to LCG2.4 has completed this morning and we're seeing jobs come in again. At the same time we've increased the virtual memory available on the worker nodes to at least 4Gbyte per dual-CPU (that's 2GByte per job minimum). I hope this is sufficient for the large jobs we're seeing.

If you notice anything strange, please let us know!

PS: this upgrade also marked the permanent end of the legacy RH73 service on tbn18.nikhef.nl. All user's (including our local people) should use the "03" facility from now on. The UI is at ui03.nikhef.nl
