Dear users,
On Tuesday February 15, 2011, the entire Nikhef grid facility will be unavailable to replace a central component in the network setup. Consequently, it will not be possible to use the compute service, the storage systems (connected via tbn18.nikhef.nl) and other grid services.
The replacement is a complex operation. There is a small probability that certain services will not be functioning properly after the replacement. Therefore, we scheduled an "at risk" downtime until Thursday February 17. During this period, services may (temporarily) be unavailable and we will test and fix any remaining problems.
